I’m grateful you’re interested in obtaining a copy of Things Thought Impossible and supporting Salvation Army children’s homes around the world.
Instead of the traditional model for selling, things work a little differently around here. The “ordering” process is one that is giving-focused and helps to get everybody giving together.
Instead of asking “How much does a CD cost?” the question is now:
“What would you like to give in support of the cause this CD supports?”
Request your copy of Things Thought Impossible.
“But really… how much should I give?”
Seriously… that’s up to you. Give what you can. Crazy, right?
The amount you choose will:
- have any online purchasing fees deducted (sadly, PayPal isn’t free)
- cover postage and shipping from Canada
And the remainder will be:
- directed to the Ethembeni Children’s Home, the cause the CD supports
With this in mind, here’s an example.
Say you want to request one copy of “Things Thought Impossible” and give around $10 (Canadian dollars) to the cause. Consider sending:
- $14 … for shipping within Canada
- $17 … for shipping from Canada to the US
- $21 … for shipping from to Canada to elsewhere in the world

How about getting an income tax receipt?
If your gift is over $10 (after deductions) you can request that a Canadian income tax receipt
Because you’re getting something in exchange for your gift Canadian tax law requires the fair market value be deducted. As an older CD that has already been paid for
Your Gift – Processing & Shipping Fees – Fair Market Value
= The Amount On Your Tax Receipt
Example: $20 gift – $4 fees – $3 fair market value = $13 income tax receipt

If you want to give well above what is suggested please do not do that here. This CD raises awareness and supports a cause, but if you want to do more than request a few CDs (which is AMAZING!) please contact me and I’ll help connect you with the right people.
